School Summary
Forman is not one of PISD’s high-performing elementary schools, as can be seen most readily by looking at the % of STAAR scores at Forman that met (46%) and significantly exceeded (22%) state standards. Despite its struggles with STAAR test performance, Forman is making progress. Over the past 4 years, the % of STAAR scores at Forman that met state standards were as follows—2015-’16: 28%; 2016-’17: 29%; 2017-’18: 37%; 2018-’19: 46%. Meadows has one of PISD’s higher rates of economically disadvantaged students at 82.1% and feeds into Armstrong Middle School. Forman then move onto McMillen High and Plano East Senior High.
