School Summary
Hughston Elementary, much like neighboring Saigling, continues to be a terrific and often-overlooked gem in Central Plano. It outpaces the PISD average with STAAR scores, has a very low mobility rate, and is one of the smallest elementary schools in the district with an average grade size of under 60 students. 9 out of 10 STAAR scores at Hughston approached the state standard in 2018-’19, just over 2/3 (68%) met that standard, and 4 out of 10 STAAR scores greatly exceeded grade-level expectations.
